We are on our way.

Soooo I picked up the Beemer almost two weeks ago and took it to a mechanic that was referred to me by my friend, 103.5 The Fox’s afternoon talent Shark. Now I’m not having my mechanic do all the work for me, just a few things. Crazy thing about this is the bike actually does run, you just wouldn’t want to run it very much at all until the seals and gaskets are replaced so they don’t fall apart in the engine. I’m figuring that if I can get the bike to successfully and safely go, stop and turn, I would be on the right road.

Right after I dropped the bike off to my mechanic we took the wheels off the bike and I took them to Woody’s Wheel works to get those old spoke wheels COMPLETELY refurbished. It’s a pricey enterprise but what can you do? Soon as those bad boys are ready I’ll take the new tires I ordered in to them and have them hook it up. I also ordered purdy new handlebars and a throttle assembly. Vech at Benchmark Works is the guru of these bikes and has any part you need. But damn they are expensive!! Where else can you go though right? They are original parts ans Vech is happy to look at your digital photos to let you know exactly what you do and don’t need.

I’ve already stripped and cleaned the exhaust as best I could. Next step is the chrome at Denver Bumper. I’ll make sure to post more pictures as I get them and make more progress. If you give a damn at all, follow the pics on my Facebook page.

Let me wipe the dust off here.

So I created this blog over a year ago and never did anything with it. Got plans though, stay tuned.

Good to be here!

I'm going to try and come up with funny things.
